Barcelona brought the global audiovisual industry together again between February 3 and 6, with the new edition of Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026. For AVACOM, this gathering had a special meaning: it marked its second consecutive appearance as an exhibitor at the most relevant audiovisual show in Europe, confirming that the step taken a year earlier turned into a sustained presence.

A year marked by industry announcements
The 2026 edition arrived with news for the sector. During the show, the organisation announced the creation of the ISE Foundation, an initiative led by ISE and backed by its co-owners AVIXA and CEDIA, aimed at strengthening the long-term development of the audiovisual industry. The event also featured a notable delegation of public figures and government officials, including representatives from Latin American countries, a reflection of Barcelona's position as a technology hub of global reach.
In that context, AVACOM held conversations with members of AVIXA, co-owners of ISE, strengthening ties with key players in the audiovisual industry and widening its network of contacts within the ecosystem surrounding the show.
A meeting with international projection
One of the highlights of AVACOM's participation in ISE 2026 came with the contact established with Qatar's minister of education and his delegation. The meeting opened a space for dialogue about the technological needs of education systems and the possibilities AVACOM's ecosystem offers to support transformation processes in classrooms. For a company that until now concentrated its presence in Latin America, Spain and the United States, these conversations represented a door towards markets with different needs and contexts, and confirmed the interest AVACOM's proposal raises among government representatives from different regions of the world.

Voices that represent AVACOM
This year's participation also had a human component worth highlighting. Linda Reyes Tovar, Vice President of AVACOM, was recognised for her career within the audiovisual industry, a gesture that reaffirmed the role of women leaders in a sector where their presence keeps growing. Talking about her experience between audiovisual production and educational AV, Reyes shared a reflection that sums up well the philosophy behind every AVACOM project:
In both audiovisual production and educational AV, you have to make everything possible. You need a creative and grounded vision at the same time, because without both there is no launch
A presence that consolidates
Repeating its presence at ISE confirmed that AVACOM's first participation in 2025 was the beginning of a path, and not an isolated event. With every edition, the company adds contacts, conversations and lessons that contribute to its international strategy. The combination of industry relationships, government meetings and the recognition of its people leaves AVACOM in an increasingly visible position within the European audiovisual landscape, with Barcelona as the recurring setting of that construction.
